AGORA was born from the process of democratization of American education, inspired by the repeated and renewed ideal of accessibility, instituted as private, secular, open to the world.

AGORA's mission is to

1. Produce new knowledge, transmit and share knowledge, preserve and enrich scientific, cultural, intellectual and artistic heritage.
2. Contribute to the democratization of higher education and student success at all three levels of study.
3. Participate in the development of society through training, research and creative activities aligned with the concerns of educational, cultural, professional, social or economic circles.
4. Stimulate, develop and promote scientific and artistic curiosity, analytical thinking, critical thinking, creativity, autonomy and commitment.
